You will get an entire email to send out to subscribers with no other ads in that particular issue. In almost all cases ezine publishers will not limit you by the number of lines. These ads outpull Top Sponsor Ads by 2:1 and Classified Ads by 3:1. 2. Top Sponsor Ads - These are ads that get best position in an ezine. That is almost at the top. You are limited with space upto 4-7 lines with around 50-55 characters per line. 3. Classified Ads - These are ads that are placed with bunch of other ads. They are alot cheaper than Solo Ads and Top Sponsor Ads. They are good for testing a product. But they get less responses as compared to Solo Ads and Top Sponsor Ads. How To Select Ezine For Best Response 1. Sign up with that particular ezine. See the quality of ezines published. Ask yourself, will you read those ezines, are they valuable and are you interested in reading them. If yes than others might be too interested. Check out the back issues if available. Get some issues from that ezine before you place your ad. If you are interested in the content of that ezine, then others might be too interested. This means that the ezines are read by their subscribers as they are interesting. 2. Try out small. Place ad in an ezine having 1000 subscribers at present to check response. If response is good go for all the subscribers in that ezine. 3. Try to convince ezine publisher to give personal recommendation about your product to his subscribers. For this give publisher a free copy of your product to show its quality. If he gives a personal recommendation this will increase response rate tremendously. 4. If you are starting out, I suggest you to write down an eye boggling ad for your product and place it as a classified ad in 3 ezines. Check out response of your ad and quality of these ezines. Continue to place a top sponsor ad in the ezine where you got best response. If you get no response at all, this means that your ad is not as powerful as it should be, to capture attention of readers. Change your ad and continue the same procedure as mentioned in point 4. How To Write Killer Ads Apply these few techniques which I use to write Killer Classified Ads. 1. You must have something to give your visitors for free at your website. For example : I give my visitors a FREE report and minisite design videos after they submit their name and email address. Never try to make a sale in your classified ad. Try to collect name and email addresses of people out there by giving them something FREE. The word FREE creates tremendous responses. YOU can write FREE reports and give them through your tiny ads. Ask your visitors to submit their name and email address to get your FREE report. I apply this same technique while writing my ad. For example: You can write your ad as... "FREE REPORT : How to Loose 20 lbs in 10 days or less quickly and easily... Guaranteed!" if you are selling some weight loss product. 2. Start your classified ad with the word FREE in caps. This creates emotions among the readers and you get more click throughs. 3. Show specific numbers to your visitors in your ad. For example: Don't tell your visitors "Loose weight NOW having xxx product" instead tell them... "Loose 20 lbs in 10 days or less having xxx product!" 4. I always try to include these 3 words in my ads. Quickly, Easily and Guaranteed. They pull interest among readers and pull great responses. For example: "How to loose 20 lbs in 10 days or less Quickly and Easily... Guaranteed!" 5. Never mention price in your classified ad. Give them something for FREE to get them to click your ad. 6. Some of the best ads start with "How to ......." statement. For example: "How to loose 20 lbs in 10 days or less!" You can also ask a question in your ad For example: "Can YOU loose 20 lbs in 10 days or less?" This also pulls great responses. 7. Put your ads in inverted commas. This pulls more responses. For example: Don't write your ad in this way... How to loose 20 lbs in 10 days or less! instead put inverted commas around it... "How to loose 20 lbs in 10 days or less!" 8. Include both your website address and your autoresponder address in your ad. 9 Include http:// in front of your website address and mailto: in front of your email address. This makes the links clickable. For example, don't write your website address and email address like this...
